ASSEMBLER
Specific Job Duties and Purpose:
- Be able to read and follow directions and instructions from supervisor
- Have the ability to produce 55 fixtures a week, while maintaining quality
- Able to read a measuring device
- Must be able to work with glass and cutting glass pieces
- Able to identify and find parts to assemble all makes and models of our lanterns
- Have a memory and knowledge of building standard parts
- Adaptability, multi-task and patience
- Be able to work closely with co-workers
- Aids other departments as deemed necessary
- General cleanliness, clean housekeeping all while maintaining equipment
Education/Experience Required:
High School or General Education Diploma preferred but not necessary. Must have an understanding of basic math, reading a ruler, distinguish between brass and copper. Must be able to achieve a high quality of craftsmanship while focusing on small details.
Equipment that will be used: Basic household hand tools, hy-pot tester
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform repetitive motions
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to distinguish between two different metals
